Herbarium - The Tale of Genji (Yūgiri)

Originating from Japan, the Herbarium draws its creative inspiration from the Japanese classic literature "The Tale of Genji" (げんじものがたり). The floral elements float and sink within the glass vessel, revealing a variety of fascinating forms. Under the illumination of light, they emanate a captivating iridescence, presenting a visually pleasing art form that uplifts the spirit at a glance.

*As BLÅMIÄO's Herbarium is handcrafted on-the-spot, initial uneven coloring is normal. This condition will disappear once the mineral oil has fully permeated the flowers.

Floral materials used: Preserved Roses (Pink), Preserved Hydrangeas (Blue), Preserved French Wax Myrtle (White), Preserved Kaner (Pinkish Purple), Preserved Snowy Mallow (Purple), Preserved Baby's Breath (Silver), Preserved Moss (Blue).

Container materials and solution: Glass, cork, special mineral oil for Herbarium.
